This is a straight financing and leasing calculator which I use daily at my Volvo/Isuzu/Pontiac/Hyundai dealership in Chesapeake, VA. I designed it specifically for VOLVO, but it contains also some data regarding Isuzu.
All you need to know is the M(anufacturer) S(uggested) R(etail) P(rice) in dollars and cents, Net Selling Price in dollars and cents, APR in percentage, Residual Value in percentage, and Money Factor in decimals(this last, when multiplied times 2400 will give you the lease APR).
If the car you are considering is a Volvo, just enter its name where it says 93 VOLVO 960 MOONROOF (exactly as spelled in cells A94 through A107, the Net Selling price under the legend BOTTOM LINE, the desired term (36 or 48 months are the ONLY available for Volvo’s Special Rates through Feb. 28, 1993) in place of the outlined 36, your estimated annual mileage (if over 15,000 ONLY) in Annual Miles:. If there is a trade, enter it’s Actual Cash Value (ACV) and Net Pay-off too. This SS will do the rest.
The taxes are calculated at 3.3% (Chesapeake, VA taxes) if needed, modify the values (0.03 & 0.003) in cell A10.
If it is not a Volvo, or the desired term is either 24 or 60 months, enter the values in the appropriate places.
